What a cracking day celebrating the coronation of King Charles III. Lots of fun had by all, and in glorious sunshine!
Special thanks to Laura and John Burley for hosting, the Millington Cum Givendale Parish Councillors, Robert Willoughby, the Fogglesyke band and Joe Cheney for putting on a brilliant event, we are very grateful. Also, thanks to The Gait Inn for their lovely hot roast sandwiches later on.
The fabulous Fogglesyke band raised £76 for McMillan nurses at the event, and not only that, the raffle raised and amazing £480 for village hall funds. Huge thanks go to Shawn Smith and others for managing to sell all the tickets, and to everyone who bought them.
