The day includes organised events and refreshments for all to enjoy!

Yorkshire Day 2021
It was so nice to see so many people from the villages join in with the Yorkshire Day Celebrations back in August. Planning the event had been tricky as it was always difficult to know what we could and couldn’t do and also what people were comfortable with. This year we focused on the Betty Clarke Tea Party, which was very well supported. Our thanks go to everyone who helped, from putting up the marquee and bunting, leaflet distribution, to preparing food and entertainment and so much more. Special thanks to the Fogglesyke band for playing once again and raising a brilliant £130 for Macmillan Cancer Support. Later in the afternoon, local teenager Joe Cheney sang live from the marquee. He was very very good and needless to say we have already booked him for next time

The next Yorkshire Day will be held in 2023.
